Patricia Sagert

A student of servant-leadership Patty invests her time and talents in work, projects, and programs that align with her personal values. Patty holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and a certificate in Servant-Leadership from Gonzaga University.

Patty believes in the power of education and is honored to serve on the Leaders and Achievers Advisory Board. Ensuring the next generation of leaders has the tools and resources to thrive and grow in their leadership journey. This is a key reason why Patty is serving on the Leaders and Achievers Advisory Board.

Patty works at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis in facilities leadership. She is a member of TeamWomen and serves on their DEI committee. She holds a leadership role on the board of the Roseville Area Optimist Club.

Tammy Block

Tammy Block is a mother of two and has raised her children in Rosemount, MN. She is a licensed attorney in Minnesota (admitted in 1998) and South Dakota (admitted in 2000), and Texas, and in the process of getting licensed in Tennessee; with a practice that serves clients in a relationship based model . Tammy has over 20 years of legal experience working with clients in estate planning, probate, real estate and small business matters. She travels within two hours of the Twin Cities to serve clients in a broad geographic area and also travels to South Dakota once a year to visit clients there and southern locales to visit her Minnesota residents living in areas such as Arizona for a portion of the year. Her goal is to provide families and individuals with a sense of security and to make the process easy to understand

She graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelors degree in medical technology, got her law degree from DePaul in Chicago and her MBA from the University of Saint Thomas. She is a life long learning, but is definitely done with the degrees.

Dr. Verna Cornelia Price

Dr. Verna Cornelia Price is an internationally known human potential expert who specializes in personal power, excellence, cross-cultural communications, leadership and change. As the CEO of The Power of People Consulting Group™, a leadership and management consulting firm, Dr. Verna consults with diverse audiences spanning from corporations, government agencies, not-for profits, K-16 educators and universities with clients in the United States, Europe, The Caribbean, Central American, Africa and China. Dr. Verna has founded multiple organizations in the USA including an Undergraduate Leadership Academic Minor at the University of Minnesota, The Power of People Leadership Institute, Girls in Action™(renamed Girls Taking Action) and Boys of Hope™. In 2021, Dr. Verna was named Leader of the Year by TeamWomen for her leadership impact on the development of women and girls. In 2020, Dr. Verna was named one of the Top 100 People to Know in 2021 by Twin Cities Business Magazine. In 2020, Dr. Verna created and hosted a radio talk show in partnership WCCO Radio called In the Room Where it Happened: Racism Conversations that Matter to ALL of Us. In 2017, Dr. Verna received the Founders Award from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities for her role in co-founding the Undergraduate Leadership Academic Minor, now the largest of its kind in the world. In 2013, Dr. Verna was named an Everyday Hero by EBONY Magazine and received the MN LINKS Emerald Award. In 2010, Dr. Verna was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Black MBAs and Pioneer of the Year by Women Venture. Dr. Verna is a best selling author of three books, The Power of People: Four Kinds of People Who Can Change Your Life, The Silent Cry: Dealing with Subtracters in Work and Life , and Change Your Life in 30 Days. Dr. Verna received her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. She is married and has four children.

 
 

Valerie Lockhart

Valerie Lockhart has a deep love for words, technology, and photography. She has been providing SEO services and creating digital content for 10+ years through her business, Ninja Media International. Valerie also serves as Executive Director for both the Minneapolis Television Network and the Minnesota Women in Technology. She is passionate about individual rights and digital accessibility and spends her free time helping people learn how to leverage technology and media to become more self-sufficient.

 
 

Laura Cohen

Laura Cohen founder and Principal of Laura Cohen Consulting; is known as a relationship driven Consultant with a talent for connecting organizations with profitable business opportunities, advising business owners and entrepreneurs on strategy to grow their business. Over the last two decades she has worked for several award-winning publication and media companies. Her love of culture and the arts is evident by her involvement over the years as a committee member and former Co-Chair of the Wayzata Art Experience/Juried Art Show. Laura is a former Board Member of Literacy MN, former chair of the Development Committee and currently a member of the Marketing committee. On her free days she can be found at art galleries, attending theater, Concerts and exploring other cultural events

 
 

Lori Ziebarth

With more than two decades of experience in television news, marketing and communications, Lori Ziebarth has seen the power words have on the heart, mind and soul. Currently, Assistant Vice President Content Marketing Manager at U.S. Bank, Lori feels a great responsibility to her audience to convey messages that are crisp, concise and clear. She holds degrees in business, journalism, and communications management. In her free time, Lori is always looking for her next great adventure. But her greatest adventure is being the single mom of two young men - both seniors this coming year: One in college, one in high school.

 
 

Holly Miller

Holly has 20 plus years of leadership in corporate, nonprofit and for-profit organization. She has a great passion for helping organizations succeed in their reach of helping those they are called to serve. She holds an MA in Organizational Leadership and is a Gallup Certified Strength coach. Holly lives in Maple Grove, MN is married to Jason and they have a 10 year old daughter Kayla.

 
 

Daniel Tesch

Daniel has a very diverse and interesting background in various different activities. Recently graduated high school in 2020, the class of COVID. He attempted to play Division III football at a small school but injuries "ended his career", from that he has transformed his body from an offensive lineman to what most people consider "normal". Through the weight loss journey he has learned so many different things about himself and about the world around us. Daniel has a newfound passion for his core values of Respect, Dedication, and Loyalty. These are all things that he believes are the foundation for a constructive society. He is finishing up a two year degree in business with a concentration in accounting. He wanted to match his passion for working with his hands and his education, so he has started an LLC that focuses on landscaping and handyman work while going to school and working for another landscaping business. Some of his hobbies include golfing, watching sports, and working out.
