ScholarMatch’s Scholar Program

Our Scholars Program provides scholarships and support services all the way to college graduation.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Complete ScholarMatch’s College-Ready Milestones 1 – 8
  • Have met with your College Coach at least six times
  • Have an SAI under $20,000 (preference is given to students who are Pell Eligible or have an SAI of $0)
  • Plan on attending a four-year college
  • Be a first-generation college student (neither parent/guardian has a bachelor’s degree)

How it works

Personalized College Advising

Scholars are matched with a college advisor, a ScholarMatch staff member who supports scholars with all things college, including picking classes, accessing campus resources, paying your tuition bill, and finding your people.

Career Mentoring

Scholars learn career readiness skills, attend career workshops, and work with volunteer career coaches to receive support with creating a resume, finding internships, and building your professional networks.

Financial Support

The Scholars Program provide scholarship funding between $8,000 and $20,000. Scholarships can be used to pay for school-related expenses such as tuition, fees, books, and supplies.
